wolves, lions and tigers

The wolf

Female wolves weighs up to 60 to 80 pounds but a male 70 to 110 pounds. The length of there life is 13 years. They have 42 teeth. Wolves are also the biggest member of the dog family. They are also able to roam up to 12 miles in 1 day. There fur colour can be grey ,black or white. Wolves eat hooved animals. Wolves will defend there loved ones till they die. Wolves are as long as really tall people but allot faster. A wolf pack is leaded by a alpha male and an alpha female.

Lion

 Lions mostly live in Africa. They can weigh 30 stone and they can get there water from plants. Lions usually live in prides with 10 to 15 animals. When they are born, they are spotty. Lions usually hunt during storms because there eyes are adapted to the dark so they can see through the storm and the noises of the storm makes there prey not able to hear them . Lions don't need to drink as much as us but they do need to eat. lionesses do most of the hunting female lions also look after there cubs together.

Tiger

Tigers weigh up to 670 pound's and are the largest cat species in the world. There stripes are all different, like a humans finger print. The most common tiger is the Bengal tiger. In the wild, tigers live about for 20 to 26 years. Usually adult tigers live alone. Wild tigers live in Asia but Siberian tigers live in  Rusher. Tigers don't usually but love sleeping in cool caves just like they love the water (unlike other cats). Tigers are great swimmers. Tigers roars can be heard from 3 kilometers away.

1. 264 monkeys are currently known in the world and groups of monkeys are known as a tribe, troop or mission.

2. An example for an Old World Monkey is a baboon.

3.An Old World Monkey is a monkey is a monkey that lives in Africa or Asia.

4.Do you think Apes are  monkeys? You do? If you do your wrong, Apes are not monkey's.

5. A Mandrill is the biggest monkey in the world 

6. The smallest monkey in the world is a pygmy Marmoset.

7.The reason there is a monkey called a Spider Monkey is because they have long arms and long tails, helpful to get into high trees.

8. The Proboscis Monkey has a really long nose.

9. Howler monkeys howls can be heard from 3 miles away.

10. Monkeys usually stay together and help each over.

Giraffe

10 FACTS ABOUT GIRAFFE'S

1. Giraffe's are the tallest animal on earth

2. So you think a graffe's neck can reach anything, nope, if a giraffe wanted to put his head on the ground his neck is to short to reach.

3.Like a lion, giraffe's only need to drink every few days.

4. Giraffe's sleep and give birth standing up.

5. Giraffe's are herbivores which means they only eat plants.

6. Giraffe's have tongues that are between 18 and 20 inches long, great for reaching those high up leaves. 

7.The giraffe's necks are perfect for looking out for thous evil predators 

8. Boys giraffe's usually eat all day, hopefully they don't get fat.

9. Giraffe's are very social animals.

10.giraffe's are known to live for 25 years in the wild.
